Our manufacturing process
Quality rests on innovation, retroaction, continuous training, and R&D. We have a state-of-the-art remanufacturing process: our system has ISO9001-2000 certification; our production facility is headed by two engineers; and we have ongoing R&D in order to constantly improve quality. Our cartridges are also certified by the CGSB (Canadian General Standards Board).
Our production is supported by digital technology, to ensure the complete traceability of our cartridges. We identify each cartridge with a sequential barcode number. This information is the foundation of our quality-control system. We are able to react quickly in our processes and our raw-material suppliers.
We never use the "split hopper" method, which consists of breaking the cartridge in half and clipping it back together. This method causes frequent toner leakage, interference with the magnetic fields because of metal clips (causing ghost images), and a higher total cost of production. The method used by InfoLaser generates a low defect rate, lower production cost, and no toner leakage.
